Bangla Awas Yojana Apply 2025 | Eligibility & Required Documents
The Bangla Awas Yojana housing scheme was launched by the West Bengal Government. Under this Bangla Awas Yojana scheme, benefits will be provided to those people who do not have a home and live in poor conditions. People who are eligible to get these benefits and also listed in the SECC listwill apply for a new house.

Awas Yojana eligibility for Application
Resident of India:The applicant must be a resident of India.
Age Limit:The applicant must have crossed the age limit of 18 years.
Annual Income:The annual income of the applicant should be between Rs 03 lakh to Rs 06 lakh.
Name in BPL List:The applicant must have a ration card or name in the BPL list.
Homeless Families:Families who do not have any permanent shelter.
Inadequate Housing:Families whose houses have no, one or two rooms, with kutcha walls and roofs.
Lack of Education:Families with no literate adult members above the age of 25 years.
Limited Workforce:Families with no adult male member between the ages of 16 and 59 years.
Absence of working-age adults:Families with no adult members between the ages of 16 and 59 years.
Disability and Dependency:Families with disabled members and no able-bodied persons.
Landless Labourers:Families who depend only on casual labor for income.
Marginalized communities:Families belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Minorities.
Required Documents for Awas Yojana Application
You must have the following documents If you want to apply for Bangla Awas Yojana-
- Aadhaar card
- Photograph
- Bank passbook/Post Office passbook
- Valid Mobile number
- Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) registration number
- Voter card/Ration card/BPL Card (If needed)
- Handicapped certificate (If have a disability)
Bangla Awas Yojana Application Process
You can not apply directly online to the Bangla Awas Yojana Scheme. First of all, you have to collect all required documents and visit your gram panchayat or block or municipality/housing department. Here you submit your documents and can apply online, here is the complete process of application-
- First, you have to visit the official AWAS Yojana portal. Before doing that scan your all documents properly.
- After visiting the official website you can see the menubar on the top. Here you can see a menu named "Awaassoft" When you click on this open option click the first one named "Data Entry".

- On this page, you can see 4 options you have to click on the last one "DATA ENTRY For AWAAS+" option.

- After clicking on the login button opens a popup where you have to select your state and click on the "Continue" button.

- No on this page you have to enter your User ID and password type the captcha code and click on the "Log in" button.

- Now the Awas Yojana Beneficiary Registration Form will be open in front of you. Now time to fill out the form please fill this form carefully.

On this registration form first have to fill in all Personal details like-
- Panchayat name
- Social category
- Household details
- Religion
- Beneficiary details
- Gender
- Ownership details
- Disability information
- Mobile number
and some other details
- In the second section you have to fill in Beneficiary Bank Account Details (also Post Office details if bank account is not available) properly-

- Bank type
- Bank name
- Bank branch name
- Account number
- Beneficiary name as bank account
- Loan details (if available)
- In this third section, you have to enter Beneficiary Convergence Details like your Job card number and Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) registration number.

- In this last section the officer who applies your form will enter some information about the application and some office use items.

This is the way to apply Awas yojana Online. You can apply using Gram panchayat or block or municipality/housing department.
After completing the application you will receive a verification SMS to your mobile number with registration number and PMAYID. This registration number and PMAYID will help you to check your application online or offline so keep it safe.
