Everyone wants their own house no matter how big or small but in West Bengal most people don’t have a small house. The main reason for no homes is the problem of financial means they are poor. Poor people do not have enough money to feed their families, then how do they make their own house?
According to government data in West Bengal, there was 80% of families have their own house. For these people, the government of West Bengal started a new scheme for giving new houses named Bangla Awas Yojana (Banglar Bari 2025).
This scheme is only made for those people who live in poor conditions and their income is too small. Anyone who lives in poor conditions they have faced the financial problem and don’t have enough income per year can easily apply to Bangla Awas Yojana.
Bangla Awas Government Notification
According to a public notification published on paschimbardhaman.gov.in on the date 16/08/2021 this scheme running under Mission Nirmal Bangla Prakalpa. Under this scheme, the beneficiary is in three separate installments ie 1st @ Rs 60,000, 2nd @ Rs 60,000, & 3rd @ Rs 10,000 on the basis of stages of construction of the house.
